Apply Singapore's PSG & EDG grants to Automiq AI workflow automation.
If you run a Singapore SME and you're evaluating AI workflow automation, two government schemes can fund a meaningful slice of your Automiq pilot: the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) for pre-approved solutions, and the Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) for capability-building projects. This page explains which fits which workload, what Automiq qualifies for today, and the documents you need to apply.
At a glance
- PSG (IMDA / Enterprise Singapore): up to 50% support for pre-approved solutions, capped at S$30,000 per SME per year across all categories.
- EDG (Enterprise Singapore): up to 50% support for SMEs (up to 70% for select cases) on projects that strengthen Core Capabilities, Innovation & Productivity, or Market Access — uncapped per project.
- Automiq status: we are working with IMDA on PSG pre-approval under the Customer Management and Inventory Tracking & Management categories. EDG eligibility is established today under Strategic Brand & Marketing and Innovation & Productivity.
Which grant fits which Automiq workflow?
Customer enquiries · WhatsApp / web form automation → PSG (Customer Management)
If your Automiq pilot replaces a contact form, WhatsApp Business inbox, or a tier-1 support queue, it falls under PSG Customer Management. Typical pilot: 1 inbound channel + AI intent classification + draft reply + human approval. ~S$24k pilot cost, ~S$12k after PSG.
Booking, scheduling, appointments → PSG (Customer Management) or EDG
Clinics, studios, education, and field-service teams routing appointments and reminders qualify under PSG Customer Management. Multi-site rollouts (3+ branches) usually go via EDG for the broader productivity claim.
Dispatch, fleet, last-mile → PSG (Inventory Tracking) or EDG (Productivity)
Logistics workflows — order intake, driver assignment, exception handling, ETA broadcast — fall under PSG Inventory Tracking when the pilot is single-warehouse. Multi-warehouse, multi-vehicle, or integration with TMS/WMS goes EDG.
Internal approvals · PO / leave / vendor → EDG (Innovation & Productivity)
Approval workflows — PO routing, vendor onboarding, expense, leave — sit under EDG Innovation & Productivity because the productivity claim spans Finance, HR, and Ops. PSG does not have a matching category.
Eligibility checklist
You qualify for PSG / EDG if all of the following apply:
- Registered and operating in Singapore (UEN required).
- At least 30% local shareholding (PSG) / 30% local equity (EDG).
- Group annual sales ≤ S$100M or group employment ≤ 200 employees.
- In a financial position to pay the un-funded portion of the project.
- For PSG: purchase the solution after the grant is approved — backdated purchases are not eligible.
Documents you'll need
- Latest ACRA Bizfile (within 6 months).
- UEN (Unique Entity Number).
- CorpPass admin access to businessgrants.gov.sg.
- Audited financials or management accounts (EDG).
- Project proposal — for EDG. Automiq provides a template.
- Solution quote — Automiq issues a PSG-formatted quote on request.
Typical pilot cost after grants
Most Automiq pilots land between S$18,000–S$40,000 (excl. GST) for the first production workflow. With PSG at 50%, customer-paid portion is typically S$9,000–S$20,000. EDG-funded projects with broader scope range S$60,000–S$200,000 with similar 50% support.
How to apply — three steps
- Scoping call with Automiq (free, ~30 min). We confirm which grant fits your workflow and issue a grant-ready quote.
- Submit via Business Grants Portal. PSG approvals typically take 4–8 weeks; EDG runs 8–12 weeks.
- Kickoff after approval. Pilot ships in ~17 days. Grant disbursement is on project completion against the agreed deliverables.
What if you're not eligible for either?
Companies above the SME thresholds, government agencies, and statutory boards can still access Automiq at standard commercial terms — and we have separate pricing for non-profit and education customers.
